Memoir Comics
I want to compile my memoir comics into a compilation one day. I can imagine it. The stack of 10+ notebooks filled with comics wait patiently for attention. My idea notebook has a backlog a year long. Carmen, my inner perfectionist, demands that there be essays that tie the comics with a satisfying thread (and, of course, better scans of the images). The vision is there, the time and the priority is not… yet. In the meantime, here’s the roughdraft. A way for me to spend time making progress towards my one-day memoir, instead of just saying I want to make it some day.
Day 1. Dreaming

Day 14. Cleaned out the fridge after it was broken for over 2 weeks.
Day 15. Self love.
Day 16. This is all I had the time and energy for today.

Diary Comics
I started making diary comics in 2020 to explore my newly discovered inner characters and to make sense of my life. (Since what else was there to do during lockdown of a global pandemic?)
